Shipping Policy
All in-stock items will be shipped
within 3-5 business days of order confirmation.  Any item not in stock will usually be shipped within 10 business days of order confirmation.  Unless other arrangements are made all orders are shipped via UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, or USPS Parcel service.

International, overnight or expedited shipping requests are available at an additional charge, and you may contact us at (888) 293-GEAR for a price quote. 

Please ensure that you review carefully your correct shipping address information, when selections are made via the website, as any packages shipped to an incorrect address will not be reshipped without repayment from the customer for both the items and reshipping charges.  If a change of address takes place it is the customers responsibility to notify Advantage Gear of the new information.  Advantage Gear will not be responsible for items or packages send to a non-current address if we were not notified of the change.

For your protection, please ensure a timely pickup from your porch or doorstep, as all shipments are FOB your shipping address.   Advantage Gear is not responsible for lost or stolen shipments from your doorstep or home.

Privacy Policy
Advantage Gear has incorporated this statement to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy.  Your trust is important to us, and we constantly strive to protect your confidential information.  We will not sell, lend, trade or provide your personal information to any other companies or parties.

All personal information is utilized for the sole purpose of ensuring the most convenient and satisfying customer experience.  Our site uses forms to collect customer information, such as email address, mailing address, and credit card number.  For security purposes, any credit card transactions are handled directly between the customer and the credit card processing company, and as such, no credit card information is stored by Advantage Gear, Inc.  Address information is used for billing purposes and ongoing marketing of promotions or discount offerings.  Our customers have the option to request the restriction or suspension of these informational communications.

Advantage Gear’s website may contain links to other sites, and is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites.  We encourage parents to monitor children’s use on the World Wide Web as an additional preventative measure to ensure that personal information is not released, without parental consent.

Return Policy
The  following return policy becomes effective immediately once an order is PLACED, not when the order ships or is received.

Items valued at less than $100.00 may be returned for a refund within 30 days, provided that the item(s) is not used, worn, damaged, and must be in its original packaging in re-sellable condition.  Any item (other than garments) returned for a refund will be charged a 20% re-stocking fee. No re-stock fee will be charged on items returned for an in store credit providing the entire credit is used at time of refund, you may only return and item once.  No item or combination of items equaling $100 or more can be returned for refund or credit.  Special order items (including ALL SureFire Flashlights) may not be returned.  

Garments may be exchanged once for a different size, at no charge.  Garments cannot be returned/exchanged if they have been washed, worn or soiled, or if they have had laundry tapes applied to the garment.  Garments cannot be returned/exchanged if they have been altered (including patches).  Garments cannot be returned/exchanged if they are custom garments, special garments or of non-stock colors or sizes.

We're sorry but Books, Training Manuals any printed or reference materials may not be returned.

Items cannot be returned without a Return Authorization Number.  For your convenience, Advantage Gear, Inc. provides you with a return authorization number by calling (888) 293-4327 prior to submitting any item you wish returned.  At that time we may ask your reason for return.  A return cannot be accepted without the return authorization number written on the outside of the box. 

Any merchandise returns/refunds will not include the cost of shipping.  International returns will be for the cost of the item only.

Advantage Gear, Inc. will absorb a one-time reshipping fee for an exchange in merchandise (excluding international shipments).  Any future returns will be the customer’s responsibility.

Why Log in?
If you log in, the items you store in your shopping cart will be there when you return, regardless of what computer you access the site from and regardless of whether or not you have cookies enabled. Logging in also enables the tax to be calculated while your items are still in your shopping cart. Finally, you will be required to login or create an account in order to check out and purchase your items.

Why Log out?
Regardless of whether you log out or not, no one will be able to view your credit card information since we don't store it. If you don't want anyone to see your orders or addresses stored in our system, you should log out when you are done using our site. You can log out by clicking on 'log out' in the upper-right hand corner of the home page. If you do not log out, someone may visit our site and be able to access your order history and your addresses list because you are still logged in. They will not be able to view any credit card information since we don't store that information and there is no way to access it from our site.

You will be required to create an account at checkout. Here are some of the benefits of having an account:
You can view your order history and previously ordered items without using order numbers.

How to Place An Order
Placing an order is simple and easy, but it might not be the most familiar thing in the world. You may browse through the store by clicking on various links that lead to what you are looking for. For instance, if you are looking for a 'Short Sleeve Workrite Shirt', you would click on the link, 'Uniforms' which is in the 'Categories' box on the home page. Clicking on 'Uniforms' would present more links. Among those links is 'Workrite Nomex IIIA: Short Sleeve Shirts', which you would then click on to bring up a list of Nomex Short Sleeve Shirts.

If you decided you wanted the item, you would then click on the 'Select Size' button, which would take you to another screen to select the size. If you wanted more detail about the item, you could click on the 'more' link, which would bring up a larger picture and more text about the item. Once you select the size, you will see a button that says 'Add to Cart.' By clicking on that, you will add the Nomex short sleeve shirt to your shopping cart. (The shopping cart holds all the items you add to it until you check out). All of the items in our store can be placed in your shopping cart in this way. In some cases, you may have to also select a color, or an additional size. In other cases, you may not have to select any criteria and can just add the item to the cart.

Another way to locate an item is to use the 'Search Box'. Just type what you are looking for in the search box located on the main page, click on 'Find' and a list of items that match your search term will appear. Just follow the same steps for adding the items into your cart as you would above.

Once you have all the items in your cart that you'd like, just click on 'Check Out', located in the top middle part of your screen. If you already have an account with us, you will be presented with the addresses you have stored with us. If you do not have an account with us, you will be asked to enter a billing address and a shipping address. Once you have all the addresses that you want (you can enter as many as you'd like), you would select the addresses that match the billing address and shipping address for the order and then click 'Proceed'. The next step is to simply fill in your credit card information, and the order will be placed.

These risks are out of the control of Advantage Gear, Inc., and liability is the sole responsibility of the purchaser and user.

Advantage Gear, Inc. warrants that the products and equipment are as described on advantagegear.com, but no other express warranty is made in respect to the products and equipment. If any model or sample was shown purchaser, that model or sample was used merely to illustrate the general type and quality of the product, and not to represent that the product would necessarily conform to the model or sample.

The products and equipment sold from Advantage Gear, Inc. are purchased by the purchaser "as is" and Advantage Gear, Inc. does not warrant that they are of merchantable quality or that they can be used for any particular purpose.

In the unusual event Advantage Gear, Inc. makes an error in processing your order you are entitled to a full refund, and only a full refund.

Customer Responsibility 
It is the responsibility of the purchaser and the user of products and equipment sold by Advantage Gear, Inc. to:

1. Read, understand and follow the product and equipment labels and instructions. Catalog descriptions ad illustrations are not instructions, but are intended solely for the reader's convenience. If you need technical interpretation of instructions, call or write to product manufacturer.

2. Inspect the product and equipment before and after each use, following the manufacturer's instructions. Comply with NFPA and ANSI standards and recommendations that apply to each product and piece of equipment.

3. Determine if the product is suitable for its intended use, and that it meets all applicable standards and regulations.

4. Receive training in the proper use of the product, and in the appropriate techniques involved in its use. Proper training includes safety procedures, limitations of the product, inspection of the product, and risk management. If you need information on training, call or write to the product manufacturer. Do not alter the product in any way. Repairs must be done only according to the manufacturer's instructions.

5. Use good judgment and adequate safety precautions. Do not exceed the limitations of the product or the user's skill. Practice risk management at all times.

How do I place an International Order?
Unfortunately we at
Advantage Gear, Inc. are unable to accept Credit Card as payment for International orders.  However we are more than happy to accept International orders and will gladly accept International Money Orders as payment. 

Because shipping fees, taxes, tariffs and other miscellaneous fees vary from so greatly from country to country there are two ordering options.  Both of which you will have to send us your order wait for 24-48 hours and we will send back a total, including all shipping fees and taxes, in US Dollars.  Once you have received our quote you can send an International Money Order to the address listed on the reply.  We understand that with the additional fees our prices may no longer be competitive so until we receive payment there is no obligation to purchase.
